Alderman Resignation Pushed After Pot Charges

A St. Peters alderman is being pushed to resign by a small group of residents after being busted with a small amount of marijuana.  The “Post Dispatch” reports Alderman Tommy Roberts is facing misdemeanor charges of possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, after St. Peters police found marijuana in his home August 7th.  Last year Roberts announced he was diagnosed Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer, but has not responded to the demands of resignation.
