Alderman Seeks To Repeal Anti-Condom Law

Ward twenty-five Alderman Shane Cohn is sponsoring a bill to repeal an outdated law that says it’s against the law to buy or sell a condom in St. Louis.  On the books since 1934, the law has obviously not been enforced and has not stopped the sale of condoms in St. Louis.  Citing the high rates of STD’s and teen pregnancies, Alderman Cohn proposed the bill at Tuesday’s city council meeting.
