Guilty Plea Expected In Boken Murder

A guilty plea is expected today in a murder case that shocked the St. Louis area.  At this afternoons plea hearing, 19-year-old Keith Esters is expected to plead guilty for his roll in the August 2012 shooting death of former SLU student Megan Boken.  Boken had been sitting in her car in the Central West End in broad daylight when police say Esters confronted her and tried to steal her cell phone.  During a struggle, Esters allegedly shot the 23-year-old twice, killing her.
