Police Warn Of Stolen Badge and Gun

Authorities are warning people to be cautious after a police officer’s badge and gun were stolen during a car-break in.  According to KMOV, on October 19th, during a car-break on the Culpepper’s Bar and Grill parking lot in St. Charles,  a thief got away with an officer’s gun and badge, as well as the victim’s passport and business cards.  The weapon is believed to be a semi automatic handgun, not the officer’s service revolver.  The victim works for a law enforcement agency somewhere in St. Charles County, and the badge and gun do not belong to a St.Charles officer.
