Regional Planners Look To Bus Rapid Transit For Commuters
Regional planners are looking into bus rapid transit as an option of transit for a more direct route from St. Louis County workers to their jobs in the western areas like Chesterfield and Earth City. As first reported by the “St. Louis Post Dispatch” Metro and the Missouri Department of Transportation directors are looking for ways to expand public transportation, needing a 21-hour a day service to use like MetroLink. Public meetings are set for Sept 10th, 11th, and 12 to discuss questions and concerns. For more information, please go to www.movingtransitforward.org/stlrapidtransit.
