St. Louisan Appointed To Court Of Appeals
A St. Louis area attorney is Governor Nixon’s choice to fill a vacated seat on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. Philip M. Hess will be filling the appellate court seat vacated by Kathianne Knaup Crane, who retired. A graduate of Rockhurst University in Kansas City and the University of Missouri School of Law, Hess has had a practice in St. Louis since 1998. In a written statement, Nixon said he was pleased to appoint Hess to serve on the Missouri bench, where he will use his legal acumen to ensure justice.
