Woman Gets Probation For Rifle In Crib

The woman accused of leaving a loaded rifle in her daughters crib is now on probation for five years.  The “Post Dispatch” reports, 37-year-old, Cheryl D. Dudley received a suspended sentence yesterday, after pleading guilty to eight counts of child endangerment.  In July, St. Peters Police responded to the home after neighbors saw Dudley’s 22-month-old daughter tied to the garage with a rope.  To remain on probation Dudley must submit to 17 conditions including mental health counseling, medication, birth control and supervised contact with her children or she will serve a ten-year prison sentence.
